Satmya homemade and handmade Trikatu, in Sanskrit translates to “3 spices” and is traditionally used since generations for their respiratory and digestive support.
Trikatu is a balancing rasayana excellent for respiratory ailments, promoting digestion and acts as an expectorant. It helps to increase the bio availability of nutrients and is a powerful digestive stimulant. Being hot in potency it helps reduce Kapha and acts as a decongestant. Excellent for those suffering from respiratory ailments or with a viral, cold and cough.
Ingredients & Directions for use
Trikatu Churan: Contains Black Pepper, Long Pepper (Pippali) and Dry Ginger
- As per our Ayurvedic doctor consultants, take 1/3rd tsp twice a day with honey or water post meals till symptoms persist or for 15 days. Can be safely taken 2-3 times a week for a longer time. For kids can reduce dose and give with honey or even sprinkle on their fruits. Can also be taken with 1/4th tsp of ghee.
Do not take if you have hyperacidity or excess heat in the body.
