How to use
HOW TO USE – ORGANIC CHANA DAL
Basic Cooking Method:
• Rinse the chana dal thoroughly under running water to remove dust and impurities
• Soak in water for 1–2 hours to reduce cooking time (optional but recommended)
• Cook 1 cup chana dal with 2–3 cups water in a pressure cooker for 3–4 whistles, or until tender
• Alternatively, cook in a pot on medium heat for 25–30 minutes until soft
Tempering (Tadka) Preparation:
• Heat ghee or oil in a pan
• Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, onion, and green chili
• Add turmeric, asafoetida (hing), and red chili powder
• Pour the tempering over the cooked chana dal and mix well
